Jon Cryer no longer wants to work with Charlie Sheen

In a new interview, Jon Cryer gives “Two and a Half Men” fans little hope for a new edition of the series.
The hit sitcom “Two and a Half Men” ran from 2003 to 2015. Lead actor Charlie Sheen (58) was only seen until season eight. In 2011, the Charlie Harper actor was kicked out of the hit sitcom, not least because of his falling out with creator Chuck Lorre (71). Co-star and Alan actor Jon Cryer (58) was seen in the series until the end. In an interview with “The View” the actor has now According to “Deadline” about a possible “Two and a Half Men” reboot with the original cast.

“Oh God, I don’t know how that would happen. The thing is, Charlie is doing a lot better now, which is wonderful. He and I haven’t spoken in a few years, but he’s doing a lot better, “Of course I’m happy about that,” the actor explained. For Chuck Lorre, one of the hardest things when “Two and a Half Men” fell apart was “that he really thought he was friends with Charlie. And the fact that he lost that was really hard for him. That they were “So it’s really nice to have made up again,” Cryer continued.
Chuck Lorre and Charlie Sheen had recently gotten closer again and Lorre even brought the actor into the HBO Max comedy series “How to Be a Bookie.” “Chuck reached out to me and said, ‘Hey, it’s time to bury the hatchet,'” Sheen said in one Interview with “People” magazine. “It’s time for us to hug each other and remember the great things we’ve done together.'”
Jon Cryer further explained in the recent interview: “When ‘Two and a Half Men’ was on, Charlie was the highest-paid actor on television – probably ever. And there was no one who could surpass the enormous amount of money he was making. And still he blew it up.” Cryer emphasized that he loves him and wishes him the best and that he remains in good health for the rest of his life. “But I don’t know if I want to be in the business with him for a long time. Maybe if it was a one-time thing…” the actor didn’t finish his last thought. So fans should at most hope for a small reunion.
