This case stirred the city of Dijon. A man filed a complaint against two brothers who had asked him to abduct their children from whom they did not have custody.

It is an unusual story that took place at the end of 2022. This Friday, January 6, the police services arrested two brothers aged 27 and 32 of Sudanese origin has Dijon, in Côte-d’Or, where a driver had knocked down 11 people. The reason ? These have meticulously organized the kidnapping of their own children of which they had no custody.

In order to put this plan into action, the two brothers thought of everything and have called on “a compatriot” in order to to ask him “to pick up their children”, as specified by Olivier Caracotch, prosecutor of Dijon, where a hostage-taking had taken place. RMC Crime collected this Wednesday, January 11 the remarks of the prosecution which announced that the two men, after being arrested this Friday, January 6, were sentenced to prison terms by the Dijon Criminal Court, to “violence and death threats” against the man who filed the complaint.

It was revealed by colleagues in the local press that these brothers were already known to the judicial services. What earned them to be sentenced to 18 and 15 months in prison. The man who refused to comply with their plan and who went to file a complaint following the violence suffered thus made it possible to stop before it may be too late attempted kidnapping of two children of which the respective mothers have custody. This story has, to say the least, caused a lot of talk in the city of Dijon, which is still stunned by such a scenario.
