Two people perished on Tuesday April 12 during the crash of their ULM near the village of Prat-Bonrepaux, in Ariège, according to firefighters.

The accident occurred despite the triggering of the aircraft’s parachute, 3 km from the Saint-Girons-Antichan aerodrome, from where the aircraft had just taken off. At the end of the morning, alerted by witnesses, the firefighters and the gendarmes discovered two bodies at the site of the accident, one near the aircraft, a two-seater aerobatic ULM, the second, about forty of meters.
