It’s not always easy to stand out from the competition. One of the ways to achieve this is to always offer more: this is the case with Remington, which promises no less than 72 cutting heights on the X6 Power-X Series HC6000 mower.
Remington is a specialist in razors, clippers and other hair dryers. The X6 Power-X Series HC6000 electric mower is part of its extensive catalog and stands out as one of the most versatile models on the market. Indeed, the manufacturer promises no less than 72 heights of cut. To achieve such finesse, it was necessary to equip the mower with a first adjustment wheel to select one of the 33 lengths provided, between 3 and 35 mm. Then a “micro-precision cutting guide” allows the user to modify the height of cut between 1 mm and 5 mm, in increments of only 0.1 mm. This precision in the settings makes it easy to achieve gradients, even if it will be necessary to catch the hand to make this one perfect.
However, the rest of the services are not left out and the manufacturer seems to have pulled out all the stops to seduce potential buyers. First of all, Remington promises that the steel blades responsible for cutting hair and hair are self-sharpening. They should therefore keep their sharpness for many years without too much maintenance, even if a small drop of oil from time to time should not hurt them. Of course, it is a Li-ion battery (which therefore does not lose its power, even after the promised 90-minute autonomy) which is responsible for oscillating the blades. The X6 Power-X Series HC6000 is able to adapt to the pile density; this isn’t the first time a trimmer (or razor) has had this feature. Still on the subject of autonomy, a digital display is responsible for indicating to the user how long he can still use the device without recharging it, which is still much more practical than simple diodes, like those present on the Philips BT9810/15 Prestige.
Note that Remington has chosen a USB charger. This universal socket, which many of us already have at home, avoids the accumulation of a proprietary block that clutters the cupboards.
