The two young women announced the news on their Instagram account through a post widely reported. Mariana Varela had been elected Miss Argentina 2019while Fabiola Valentin wore the crown of Miss Puerto Rico 2019. The two met the following year during the Miss International contest, a competition in which they had both failed. The two beauty queens had still finished in the Top 10. But they won much more than a trophy: love!
In their joint message posted on Instagram 5 days ago, they also revealed that they had decided to get married this October 28 in San Juan (Porto Rico). Both dressed in a white suit and displaying a radiant smile, the two ex-Miss seem totally fulfilled. “After deciding to keep our relationship private, we are opening the doors to you for a special day” they posted in the caption of images retracing their history. Mariana Varela and Fabiola Valentín were congratulated by another crowned head: “The competition brought together a beautiful union” highlighted the winner of Miss International 2020, the American Abena Akuaba who thus speaks on behalf of the organization.
