Every week, it’s the same story. The Epic Games Store offers free games to all players passing through its store. We might as well tell you that each time, there are many of them, no one is asked when it comes to getting their hands on games for free, whether on the EGS, on Steam or elsewhere. Anyway, it’s Thursday, and it’s time to come see what we have to eat this week.
Last chance for these two very popular games
First of all, know that you only have a few hours left to enjoy the two excellent free games from last week. Two nice titles, including a big AAA that is very popular. The first is called Tandem: A Tale of Shadow, a puzzle and platform game with a unique graphic style. We play a young girl who goes looking for a certain Thomas Kane, who has been missing for quite some time. An atmospheric game that has received excellent feedback.
The other popular game, the famous big AAA of this selection, The Evil Within 2. The survival horror, second episode of the Tango Gameworks license, takes us once again into the head of a psychopath. We are once again in the shoes of Inspector Sebastian Castellanos who will try to save his daughter, prisoner of the subconscious of a totally crazy serial killer. A very effective and inventive survival horror that plays with codes and benefits from a very clever and stylish artistic direction. These two games can still be retrieved until November 2 at 5 p.m., this evening. After, it will be too late.

This Thursday, November 2, there will obviously only be one free game. A fresh little indie gem that promises a few hours of rather nice adventure. Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion presents itself as a solitaire adventure and puzzle game. We play a turnip accused of tax fraud (yes, yes) who becomes the local mayor’s lackey. The latter sends us on a mission to recover some objects so that he can continue his shenanigans quietly. For us, the journey translates into a little Zelda-like full of humor and winks. A little bubble of fresh air hailed by critics and players. This new free game will be available from November 2 at 5 p.m. until the following Thursday.
What will be the next free EGS game?
This is the big question that everyone is asking a few hours before the revelation of the latter. For the moment, no idea, but it could be that the identity of the free game(s) of the week ends up being discovered before time. This is often the case.
