Two new big updates are available for Avatar Frontiers of Pandora on consoles and PC. Technical changes and to improve the gaming experience have been made.
Ubisoft ended 2023 with its massive AAA Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. An experience that is too classic in substance, but which managed to create an illusion here and there in its form. But among the weaknesses, we noted a lack of overall finish during our test. The publisher is trying to remedy the problems reported and that’s good, because the latest patches aim to overcome problems linked to recent technology.
Two updates for Avatar Frontiers of Pandora
Avatar Frontiers of Pandora has had a makeover on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC with two consecutive patches. “A new update, bringing more than 150 fixes and adjustments, has been deployed. It includes technical and balancing improvements to the user interface, main and side quests, as well as bug fixes. […] A patch with additional fixes has also been deployed » (via Ubisoft). And these updates are obviously good for all those who may have had artifact problems on Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. The cause ? AMD’s FSR 3, upscaling technology which allows better performance while requiring fewer resources.
Note that this patch is valid on PC, but also on the PS5 and Xbox Series Benchmark on PC, to test the performance of your bike in the game, has been revised for more accurate monitoring of the number of FPS as well as CPU data under Windows 10.
Beyond technical issues, Ubisoft Massive has refined the gameplay of Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. And in particular everything related to stealth. The time it takes for an enemy unit to alert reinforcements has been reduced, while it is easier for the player to interrupt this request. It is also easier to return to hide to catch up with a failed infiltration. Other changes are also available in terms of user interface, or haptic feedback from the PS5 DualSense controller.
