Shortly before 6 p.m., the 35-year-old and his co-driver were on the A10 Tauern motorway – the men were driving from Salzburg in the direction of Villach. Then – just before the Spittal-Ost exit – it happened: the handlebars left the lane, the car rolled over on the embankment and came to a standstill in the left lane.
How did that happen? “Probably due to aquaplaning and excessive speed,” the police said.
