Serious accident in East Tyrol on Tuesday morning! The street cleaning on the Felbertauernstraße near Ainet was fatal to a driver (59). He crashed into a road maintenance truck. The accident claimed two injuries.
The accident happened around 8:20 a.m. The road maintenance vehicle, which was driven by a 41-year-old, was traveling with a sweeper. Apparently, so much dust was thrown up that the following driver (59) could no longer see anything and crashed his car into the rear of the truck. Car ready for the scrap yard The 59-year-old and his passenger (67) were seriously injured. Both men had to be hospitalized. The car was totaled. The road maintenance truck was also badly damaged.
