Two injured – driving error led to head-on collision

What went wrong? In Steyregg in Upper Austria, there was a head-on crash on a turning lane on the B3. The record: two, some seriously injured.

The 33-year-old driver from Luftenberg had been traveling from Linz towards Luftenberg in the evening and had lined up in Steyregg at the Pulgan intersection on the turning lane to the left, or braked her car there to let oncoming traffic pass. Reason still unclear A 56-year-old Linzer, who was coming towards her, got his car into the left turn lane of the oncoming lane for reasons that are not yet known, causing the two vehicles to collide head-on. Both occupants were injured and taken to the hospital.
