An accident occurred on Thursday in Graz early morning traffic at Geidorfplatz: a truck and a delivery van collided in Bergmanngasse, whereupon the van also overturned. Both drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
At around 9.30 a.m., a 62-year-old from the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district was driving his delivery van on Kreuzgasse in the direction of the intersection with Bergmanngasse. At the same time, a 31-year-old woman from Leobner drove her van from Bergmanngasse in the direction of Kreuzgasse. Because the 62-year-old, according to his own statements, had overlooked the crossing area, there was a collision. The 62-year-old’s vehicle tipped sideways and landed on the roof. The rescue brought both of those involved in the accident to UKH Graz.
