A 60-year-old Upper Austrian was traveling from Unterach on the B152 in the direction of Weißenbach am Attersee when, for unknown reasons, he left the roadway and thundered into a parking lot without braking. There he first crashed into an unoccupied car and then touched a car , in which there was a Pongauer couple (both 24). The truck then drove into the car of a 33-year-old Iraqi. The car owner and an attendant were just able to save themselves from the approaching truck by jumping over the guardrail. All cars were totaled. A breathalyser test carried out on the truck driver showed a blood alcohol level of 0.5.
