The spectrum of products that can be purchased this way will expand. Until December 31, 2023, restaurant vouchers can indeed be used to pay for any food product, whether or not it is directly consumable. For the payment to work, the purchase must be made in a restaurant, hotel-restaurant, supermarket or at a butcher, cheese or market gardener.
In addition, as of September 1, 2022, the tax-exempt employer share will drop from 5.69 euros to 5.92 euros. The maximum face value of the restaurant ticket goes like this from 11.38 euros 11.84 euros.
Towards an increase in the daily ceiling?
Another big change could happen soon. Since July 1, the ceiling for using restaurant vouchers has been reduced to 19 euros.
