Thanks to the earnings generated by all the rights to broadcast European football, Canal+ has had a facelift. Two new channels will therefore join the offers of the encrypted channel from August 31. The first, called Canal+ Sport 360, will notably host MotoGP, the WRC, the Saturday evening poster in Ligue 1, as well as less publicized disciplines such as padel, SailGP or boxing. Remember that the basic Canal+ channel also broadcasts certain Champions League matches, the Formula 1 grand prix, the Top 14, MotoGP and English football.

Farewell Canal+ Offset

The second, soberly named Canal+ Foot, will join the Canal+ Sport offer. It will be entirely devoted to football, with matches in the Champions League, Europa League, Europa Conference, English Premier League, Women’s D1, Ligue 1 and, as a bonus, many dedicated broadcasts. In this formula, the Canal+ Sport channel will always be accessible, with a myriad of motorized competitions, rugby, golf and many other disciplines.

According Press Correspondence, these two new channels could be accompanied by the disappearance of Canal+ Décalé. Created in 2005 for the broadcast of deferred programs, it has been used, since 2019, to broadcast sports on weekends. It is therefore a logical end, since most of its current role will be provided by the two new channels.
