two new ultra popular free games, hurry up!

Two free games can be picked up now on Steam and kept for life. One is an episodic narrative story, the other a multi-award winning platformer.

The Epic Games Store does not have a monopoly on free play. Every week, the Fortnite creators’ store goes there with its gifts. During the Mega Sales period, which will continue for another two weeks, the American publisher is promoting larger productions than usual. Meanwhile, Steam almost always offers free trial weekends. The concept speaks for itself, it allows you to test productions entirely for a few days. If there was finally nothing last week, the platform compensates by allowing to recover two free games, which both charmed the players.

Two free games on Steam

No Free Weekend on Steam. On rare occasions, no publisher offers to try these titles. Never mind, these are two productions that can be obtained without taking out your credit card. Meaning by this that if you claim them before the time runs out, then they will remain nestled in your library for life. No need to hurry, one has been to be picked up for several weeks now, the other will be available throughout June. We defuse right away: it is possible that you already have these two free Steam games, which have already been offered several times.

Tell Me Why

It’s almost a ritual now. Each year, Dontnod and Xbox offer Tell Me Why for free on the occasion of Pride Month. The narrative game stood out at launch as one of the first AAA productions with a transgender main character. The teams were keen to remind people of the importance of including minorities naturally in the games. A subject on which Xbox and the developers make a point of honor, even if it means depriving themselves of some additional income by offering the game each year. Until 1er July, Tell Me Why is free both on Steam, Xbox Series and the Microsoft Store.

In this episodic game, players follow the intimate story of two twins: Tyler and Alyson Ronan. Recently reunited, they will use their supernatural bond to uncover the truth about their troubled past while uncovering the secrets of the small Alaskan town they grew up in. A Dontnod game, Tell Me Why is based on choices, adult themes, realistic characters and careful artistic direction. Despite its slowness and the overall lack of impact of our decisions, this free Steam game has found a special place in the hearts of players. The title amassed very positive opinions, the French particularly appreciating the addition of a VF.

Hue still free on Steam

It’s more of a wake-up call than anything else. Hue is always free on Steam until June 8 at 7 p.m., French time. Elevated to the rank of nugget when it was launched in 2016, the title is an all-poetic journey. The game invites you to transform a grey, dull and dangerous world using color. A refreshing, thought-provoking platformer that will ask you to bring sets to life through a color wheel. Its challenge, its lifespan, its host and its visual atmosphere are all assets that have charmed the players. An inventive title for its time which still today has more than 2000 very positive reviews from Steam users.

You don’t have these two gifts in your library yet? It’s now or never. To recover them, nothing could be simpler. We remind you that there is no condition to obtain them, except of course to have an account on Steam. Next, head over to the pages of the two games in question, then click the “Add to Account” button tucked away in a green button.
