Two officers injured – Klagenfurt police attacked: arrest

After two young Klagenfurters (21 and 23) had been reported for several administrative violations, the older of the two had to be arrested by the police because he had behaved extremely aggressively towards the officers. Hours later, his friend loudly demanded his release, so the handcuffs clicked on him too.

At around 3 p.m., the two young men had provoked the police officers with several administrative violations. After it was reported, the 23-year-old behaved so aggressively that he had to be arrested. Shortly before 5.30 p.m. his 21-year-old friend showed up in front of the police detention center in Klagenfurt and loudly demanded his friend’s release. There he also became increasingly aggressive and attacked the officers who had repeatedly asked him to stop his criminal behavior. When he was arrested, he hit the officers several times, injuring two police officers slightly. The 21-year-old was also taken to the police detention center. He is now also being reported to the Klagenfurt public prosecutor’s office for resisting the state authority.
