Two-part rule: outfit combinations that will help you survive any heat wave

At 32 degrees we don't feel like wearing anything other than bikini, bathing suit and flip-flops. But we have to … We show you four outfit combinations in which you can survive every heat wave.

The perfect summer outfit should be airy, but still stylish. At least for us. We probably all know that this is not always so easy at 30 degrees plus. That's why there are four ultimate summer styles that just always work. No matter if 22 or 32 degrees …

Linen look

Let's be honest: If you don't yet know that linen keeps us cool in summer, you definitely live on another planet. Linen is simply the ultimate summer fabric because it is nice and airy and light. That's why the combination of linen shorts and blouse is just PERFECT! You are welcome to play with the colors here, but an all-white look also looks great. Combine this with summery mules, sandals or sneakers. You can stay there all day.

Sweet station wagon

A wrap-around skirt is a mega must-have this summer anyway. But combined with a casual print shirt, the skirt doesn't look so playful anymore (of course it can – depending on the shirt you choose). If you like, you can knot the shirt at the front, of course it has to be cut a little wider. But we promise you, you will never go wrong with this outfit combination! Oh yes, the skirt can be displayed a bit, have flounces or several layers of fabric. That looks nice and airy!

Basic body

There it is again – the body. One of our favorite parts for … well actually for every occasion. In summer we wear it in all colors and preferably with airy linen trousers or shorts. Alternatively, it also looks great with a denim skirt or palazzo trousers. It doesn't really matter what you combine it for. With a special back neckline or a summery color, it will make your look an eye-catcher all by itself.

For fashionista

And then there is the cycling shorts. We know: It's difficult, but it can look really cool. That's why we would combine them with an oversize shirt (it has to be REALLY oversized). So the bottom is still covered, which most people simply feel more comfortable with. The cycling shorts can be a subtle color – like beige or black – but pastel tones are also very popular right now. But if you want to take it slow, you prefer to stick to the basics. Just add your favorite sneakers – that's it!

Of course, you never go wrong with mini, midi and maxi dresses. They're also perfect in the heat – but don't really need much to combine. The outfit is there in a snap – and you don't need two pieces.
