Two cops killed two people in an outbreak on a farm in Lorsch in southern Hesse on Monday. It was presumably a 56-year-old farmer and his 81-year-old mother, as the police in Darmstadt explained. They were discovered in the barn after the animals broke out.
The two owners were apparently killed by the cops, officials said. The identification has not yet been completed, but it is likely to be the operator of the farm. One of the animals was quickly caught again by helpers, the other was shot.
Accordingly, the fire brigade, police and animal rescue services did not succeed in getting the second bull under control. This had repeatedly broken out of barricades that had been built around him with vehicles. Because of the danger to humans, the animal was killed by a hunter. (AFP)
