Xiaomi has not formalized the Poco F5 and F5 Pro… but the product sheets are already online on their official website.
Xiaomi has hit hard again with its two new mid-range smartphones, the Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro, which combine the recipe that has had the success of this range so far. You know her ? High performance and enticing features for a price that won’t put you out of business.
Two relatively different smartphones
These two models were not supposed to be unveiled until Tuesday. However, Xiaomi has already listed the Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro on its website in the United Arab Emirates. The Poco F5 is positioned as a global version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, but with a little less memory.
The Poco F5 is one of the first smartphones based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2. The Poco F5 Pro, on the other hand, is like a big brother that always wants to do more and stands out with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ processor Gen 1 with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash memory storage.
Both models are equipped with 120Hz AMOLED screens (advertised with 1000 nits brightness), triple cameras, including a 64-megapixel main camera, and large batteries, 5000 mAh all the same, with fast charging of 67 watts. The Pro also has wireless charging up to 30 watts.
Unfortunately, these two smartphones are not IP certified, which means they are not waterproof. It will therefore be necessary to avoid taking them to the swimming pool, or in the shower. On the other hand, you will benefit from an infrared transmitter, Bluetooth 5.3, an NFC chip and Dolby Vision support.
The prices of the Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro have not yet been revealed. On the other hand, we can expect Xiaomi to surprise us at the launch event on Tuesday, May 9.
