Tyler Rake 2 soon on Netflix: Chris Hemsworth reveals a big surprise

As the sequel to Tyler Rake arrives in ten days on Netflix, Chris Hemsworth reveals one of the big surprises of the film!

With less than two weeks to go before Tyler Rake 2 launches on Netflix, Chris Hemsworth has revealed a secret that has been well-kept until then. Idris Elba, his partner in the Thor saga, joins the film to play a character that could be described as Tyler Rake’s itchy hair when we meet him at the start of the film. But we won’t tell you more.

It is Chris Hemsworth who is happy to reveal the surprise by publishing a final trailer for the film on his social networks. We first hear the instantly recognizable voice of the British actor – who embodies the god Heimdall in the MCU – before finally appearing in the image opposite Chris Hemsworth.

His character then takes a sarcastic tone to say: “Rake… that’s such a fun name to say.” In English, the word “rake” can be translated as “debauched” or “rake” hence the joke. And now that we know Tyler Rake well, we suspect that he is not the kind of boy enjoying the jokes about his name.

On Instagram, Chris Hemsworth addressed Idris Elba in particular, saying he was “happy that Idris Elba is joining the Extraction team [titre anglais de Tyler Rake].”

Behind the feature film, we find Marvel veterans namely Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeeley as executive producers, and of course the directors of Avengers: Endgame, Joe and Anthony Russo as producers. And it’s still stuntman Sam Hargrave who is directing the film, based on the comic book City by Ande Parks.

Tyler Rake 2 arrives June 16 on Netflix.
