It was on Instagram that director Sam Hargrave announced the end of filming for Tyler Rake 2, the action film starring Chris Hemsworth, the first part of which had become one of Netflix’s biggest hits of 2020.
Facing the camera, the director announces that he is done with principal photography, which began at the end of 2021, and takes the opportunity to thank the entire cast and film crews.
“It’s finish ! Last day for principal photography on Tyler Rake 2. What an amazing trip. Thanks to all the cast and crew, it was an epic accomplishment and I’m so proud of everyone. Thank you!” he said.
For the moment, Netflix has not revealed any information concerning the script for Tyler Rake 2 – whose writing has been entrusted to Joe Russo – but we do know that the mercenary survived his gunshot wound, of course. And that he will end up in a cold and snowy place, as shown in the photos published by the actor last December.
The streaming platform has not yet given any information regarding the release date of Tyler Rake 2.
But now that filming is complete, it’s only a matter of time before the first images (teaser, trailer) are unveiled, with the complete cast… and the broadcast date.
