Netflix announced the good news to fans during its Netflix event: Tyler Rake will be back in a third film.
Netflix did not wait long before announcing the production of a third Tyler Rake film since the platform released the second only 48 hours ago. This is to say if the blockbuster worn by Chris Hemsworth is a success. The actor has been camping since 2020 as this Australian special forces mercenary who could get rid of 10 opponents even when blindfolded.
No other details have been announced regarding this Tyler Rake 3 but we hope that one thing is not having to wait 3 years before seeing it again on our screens. Several characters should be back, including Golshifteh Farahani and Idris Elba. The latter appears in the last images of the second part and lets the hero know that his boss wants to deal with him. We do not know, at present, who it is but this new character should play a central role in the sequel.
This Tyler Rake 3 will still be directed by Sam Hargrave, who will have to do even better than the last film’s impressive 21-minute sequence shot, in which Hemsworth navigates a prison to free hostages and ends up with his fists in fire. And we are already wondering what will be the next step.
