Ubisoft announces work on Project U, a new co-op hero shooter


Although several projects have been canceled internally, Ubisoft obviously full of ideas and new games to put in place. We have already had some news from Project Qa Battle Arena, and so that it does not leak again, the French publisher takes the lead in announcing without warning the existence of Project U. You have to believe that Ubisoft has as many projects as there are letters in the alphabet, and this Project U unveiled a first image as well as a test phase that will begin soon.

Already tests planned

Project U is described as a co-op shooter, which seems to focus on PvE and ask players to band together to deal with a threat.

This is for the moment all that we know of the title, but a first test phase open to the public is already planned on PC. To have a chance to participate, just go to the official website of Project Uand register via your Ubisoft Connect account.

Ubisoft has already shared the technical specifications required to run the game on PC:

30 frames per second

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4460, AMD Ryzen 3 1200
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 (8 GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 (8 GB VRAM)
  • RAM: 16 GB dual channel

60 frames per second

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-6700K, AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 (8 GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 (8 GB VRAM)
  • RAM: 16 GB dual channel

We are now waiting to see when this alpha will take place to learn more about this mysterious title.
