Ubisoft’s surprise had unfortunately leaked a few days before, but Skull and Bones is preparing its release for February 16, 2024. It was during the Game Awards that the French publisher confirmed this information, with a new trailer for the occasion. A good time to remind you that pre-orders exist, and that they now offer early access. Alongside this announcement, a new closed beta will be available in December.
The rumors weren’t lying, the pirate game will indeed be released at the start of the year. The premium edition of the game at €90 also has 3 days early access. It will therefore be possible to embark on the adventure that offers Skull and Bones from February 16, 2024, or from February 13 with the premium edition. A practice that is a little too common these days, and which is not very pleasant to see.
We still have to hope that this does not change in the coming weeks. Even though Ubisoft probably wants to get this game over with, the December closed beta could be another opportunity for the publisher to push back the release of Skull and Bones. However, we will have to wait for feedback on the latter between December 15 and 18 to know what has become of the game. But the changes compared to that of August should not be major.
