+++Update+++: In the meantime, Ubisoft has commented on the subject of account deletion after inactivity in a statement that is available to the technology magazine The Verge.

Accordingly, Ubisoft has never deleted accounts that had been inactive for less than 4 years. According to the terms of use, this would be possible after 6 months of inactivity.

Ubisoft writes that the publisher follows a strict process with this procedure and does not delete accounts with purchased PC games. As a result, Ubisoft will not remove your accounts with PC games.

Original message

You bought an account with Ubisoft and many digital games like Assassin’s Creed, but haven’t played for a while? Then you should be careful, because your account is threatened with closure and then you will no longer have access to your games.

The AntiDRM Twitter channel has pointed out that this can actually happen, citing a message from Ubisoft.

According to this, Ubisoft blocks accounts after a long period of inactivity, then sends a notification to this effect, stating that the account can be reactivated within 30 days. All you have to do is click on the “Cancel Button” in the message. Ubisoft also emphasizes this in a reply to the tweet above.
