Ubisoft is developing three big games – but a new Assassin’s Creed is not coming for the time being


Ubisoft’s release plan for the next few months has big names and a big surprise in store – but Assassin’s Creed fans have to be prepared for a disappointment.

Ubisoft has big plans for the coming fiscal year from April 2022 to March 2023: the publisher is involved Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, and the long-awaited Skull & Bones confirmed three major game releases for the period – along with more content. According to the report, Assassin’s Creed fans will have to wait a little longer for the next entry after Valhalla.

Ubisoft: Big names, high expectations

In the financial report for the third quarter of 2021-2022, Ubisoft takes stock of the past few months and at the same time takes a meaningful look ahead. While Far Cry 6, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six highlighted as particular successes in the report, it is the planned releases that draw most attention.

Ubisoft has confirmed that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope and Skull & Bones will be released by April 2023. The latter game in particular will surprise many gamers, because the project has been in a bumpy development process for years. Assassin’s Creed: When is the next game coming?
