(Boursier.com) — Ubisoft appoints Marie-Sophie de Waubert as Senior Vice President of Studios Operations. Marie-Sophie de Waubert will report directly to Yves Guillemot, CEO and co-founder of the group, and will join Ubisoft’s Executive Committee.
As SVP of Studios Operations, Marie-Sophie de Waubert will be responsible for all of Ubisoft’s AAA production studios around the world. Its mission will be to define and implement the strategy of the studios in order to create the games, technologies and services of tomorrow, and to provide the best possible experiences to players. She will also ensure that the production teams have all the necessary tools and resources to realize the group’s creative vision and make its brands shine.
Marie-Sophie de Waubert takes on this new role, with more than 20 years of experience within the Ubisoft group. She was previously Managing Director of Ubisoft Paris, where she led various aspects of the studio’s strategy and operations. In this respect, she closely piloted the creation of games based on some of Ubisoft’s emblematic franchises.
