Ubisoft sells Assassin’s Creed bundle for 400 euros without the most important part

The Assassin’s Creed Animus Pack is the ultimate bundle for all fans of the series. The game package contains all the major parts of the series – or at least almost. Because although the bundle costs more than 400 euros in the Ubisoft Store, the latest part of the series is missing.

No Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in the Animus bundle

In 2007, no one could have guessed how successful the Assassin’s Creed series would become. Today, almost 15 years and more than 20 games later, we know: the brand is probably Ubisoft’s best horse in the stable.

For newcomers, however, the sheer volume of games can be a bit overwhelming. In addition to all the main parts, there are also numerous spin-offs, DLCs and other additional content. But Ubisoft offers PC gamers a simple solution to the problem: The Assassin’s Creed Animus Pack. A digital bundle that is currently costs a whopping 427.37 euros (Status: 06/21/2022) – but contains all Assassin’s Creed games for the PC, right? Let’s take a look at the content list:

  • Assassin’s Creed – Director’s Cut
  • Assassin’s Creed II – Standard Edition
  • Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood – Deluxe Edition
  • Assassin’s Creed Revelations – Gold Edition
  • Assassin’s Creed III Remastered
  • Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered
  • Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag – Deluxe Edition
  • Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry
  • Assassin’s Creed Unity (+ DLC 1 & DLC 3)
  • Assassin’s Creed Rogue – Deluxe Edition
  • Assassin’s Creed Syndicate – Gold Edition
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles – Trilogy
  • Assassin’s Creed Origins – Gold Edition
  • Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – Ultimate Edition

Assassin’s Creed fans should have failed. The current game is not part of the bundle: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. So if you then want to complete your collection, you usually have to spend an extra 60 euros over the digital counter – thanks to a discount campaign, it’s only 24 euros at the moment.

Assassin’s Creed is full of fun Easter eggs and references:

For whom is the Assassin’s Creed bundle worthwhile?

Let’s do the math: If we count the Chronicles trilogy, which is also part of the bundle, as three separate games, we end up with a total of 16 games. Power at a purchase price of 427.37 euros – the bundle is currently reduced by 10 percent – 26.71 euros per game.

That may still sound like an attractive price for the last two offshoots, Origins and Odyssey, for all other games of the bundle you pay a lot more.

Want to start with Assassin’s Creed or play through the series again? Then don’t plan anything for the coming months:

Sure, no player is forced to buy the bundle. The fact that Ubisoft sells such a package for such a high price at all – and then without Valhalla – gives a deep insight. But hey – nothing is true, everything is allowed, right?
