Star Wars fans will be able to rub their hands since the game from Ubisoft has just been revealed at the Xbox Showcase. It still smells very, very good.
The year 2023 is a good year for Star Wars since in addition to star wars jedi Survivor we were able to discover the very first trailer for the mysterious game from Ubisoft during the Summer Game Fest. And it now has a name: Star Wars Outlaws. Beautiful clues thanks to the title, especially as the trailer allows you to get a good idea of what awaits us.
What is Star Wars Outlaws?
The game Star Wars Outlaws is developed by Massive Entertainment (Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora) and it will invite players to discover the SW galaxy through an original story set between SW: The Empire Strikes Back And Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. As the Galactic Empire relentlessly pursues the Rebellion after the defeat of the Battle of Hoth, the player will take on the role of Kay Vess (with actress Humberly González). She is accompanied by her faithful companion Nix who is played by actor Dee Bradley Baker. The game is about pulling off the biggest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen, so the title is quite accurate since it’s about having a life as an outlaw. Finding money will be your main objective, besides escaping the Empire and its minions.

When we envisioned the franchise’s first open-world game, we explored where and when it might take place, and quickly realized we had all the right ingredients for a scoundrel’s journey. These outlaws live under the thumb of the Galactic Empire, but can nonetheless thrive on the opportunities the criminal underworld offers those looking to cash in on the turmoil..
When is it coming out?
The title is scheduled for the year 2024 without further details and it should allow fans to frolic on several planets, all in an open world. The least we can say is that next year (at the writing of this news) is likely to be busy since a veritable deluge of games awaits us.
