Ubisoft’s GTA gets its own manga


Ubisoft’s open-world series is headed to Tokyo today. However, not as a video game, but as a tangible manga. We tell you what the latest Watch Dogs project is all about and where you can legally read the work.

What is Watch Dogs Tokyo about?

As in the games, the latest Watch Dogs project is all about the theme hacking. The manga accompanies a group of young hackers who want to hunt down a corrupt corporation (“Bloom Japan”).

It is currently unclear whether there will be a direct or indirect connection to the games. However, the name of the group in question suggests that there may be certain connections with the Blume Corporation.

the Blume Corporation acts as an enemy in the first three Watch Dogs games. In this respect, maybe a cameo from Watch Dogs is the protagonist Aiden Pearce possible.

The manga is available from April 12, 2022 via the Kurage Bunch website. But this only makes sense if you speak Japanese.

An official translation into English or German has not yet been announced. Since the Watch Dogs brand is particularly popular in the West, it should an official announcement only be a matter of time.
