UBS: acquisition of Credit Suisse finalized as of June 12


(CercleFinance.com) – Credit Suisse and UBS have announced that the two companies expect the acquisition announced on March 19, 2023 to be completed as early as June 12, 2023. Upon completion of the acquisition, UBS will be the single entity, and the Credit Suisse shares and American Depositary Shares (ADS) will be delisted from the SIX Swiss Exchange (SIX) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), respectively.

If the acquisition is completed before the opening of markets in the United States on June 12, 2023, the delisting from the NYSE will take place on June 12, 2023 and the delisting from the SIX will take place on June 13, 2023. If the acquisition is completed after the opening of the markets in the United States on June 12, 2023, the delisting of the NYSE and the SIX will take place on June 13, 2023.

‘Completion of the acquisition is subject to the declaration of effect of UBS’s registration statement which covers the shares to be delivered to shareholders of Credit Suisse by the Securities and Exchange Commission and the satisfaction, or waiver by UBS, other remaining closing conditions’ indicates the group.
