UBS LMdG launches a Multi-Credit fund

(Boursier.com) — UBS LA MAISON de Gestion continues to develop its range of open-end funds and announces the launch of the LMdG Multi Credit fund.

The fund aims to offer a diversified source of return, through a unique strategy with an original combination of instruments making it possible to invest across the entire debt structure of companies:
– Exposure to the credit market: identify the most profitable return for the credit risk taken with a focus on High Yield issuers
-Investment in the capital structure of these issuers by selecting the most attractive segment, via the subordinated debt of financial and non-financial companies
-A Total Return approach: non-benchmarked and flexible management that allows the sources of return to be diversified in return for the associated risks (capital loss, shares, credit, etc.).

In addition, LMdG Multi-Credit combines ESG integration and a “Best-in-Class” approach that favors the best performing issuers in this area, beyond their sector of activity. Based on an exclusion policy of 20% of the investment universe, this fund is classified Article 8 SFDR.

UBS LA MAISON ade Gestion has had strong expertise in the credit markets for many years with its teams managing nearly 1MdE in this segment.

“The credit market, and in particular high yield, offers the opportunity to invest in strategies traditionally correlated to economic growth and not very sensitive to the context of rising interest rates. The inflationary context and the rise in bond yields are restoring relevance and ‘ attractiveness to this type of strategy. This launch responds to UBS LA MAISON de Gestion’s desire to offer its clients active and discretionary investment strategies, able to reconcile performance and integration of extra-financial criteria” says Radoslav Radev , Head of Bond Management and co-manager of the LMdG Multi-Credit fund.
