No song has been at the top of the charts longer than “Komet” by Udo Lindenberg and Apache 207.

Udo Lindenberg (77) and Apache 207 (25) have broken an all-time record with their song “Komet”: The single has been at the top of the official German single charts for 18 weeks.

No other song has held first place for so long. No English-language song has stayed at the top for so long either. The all-time record should be a special honor for Lindenberg – “Komet” is even the first number one single of his entire career.

Boney M. with “Rivers Of Babylon” from 1978 and Luis Fonsi (45) feat. Daddy Yankee (46) with her 2017 summer hit “Despacito”. Both songs stayed at the top for 17 weeks each.

Ski Aggu twice in the top 5

Not much has changed in the top 3 compared to the previous week: “Friesenjung” by Ski Aggu (25), Joost (25) and Otto Waalkes (74) is still in second place, followed by Yung Yury and Damn Yury with “Tabu.”. “Girl on the horse” by Luca-Dante Spadafora (24) and Niklas Dee (21) as well as Octavian (27) has slipped up from five to four. New in the top 5 are Ski Aggu and Sira with “rent-free”.

There was even more movement in the album charts: Peter Fox (51) now occupies the top spot with “Love Songs”, followed by “Gartenstadt” by Apache 207 and “Speak Now” by Taylor Swift (33). “5-Star” by Stray Kids follows in fourth place, Beatrice Egli (35) comes in fifth place with “Balance”.
