UFL: the release of free-to-play which wants to compete with FIFA postponed

There is movement on the field of football games at the moment. Between FIFA 23 which will be the last game ofElectronic Arts to use the license before the arrival of the EA Sports FCthis license which is therefore to be recovered by another video game, Konami who is struggling to find his marks with his eFootball 2022 became eFootball 2023… The field is clear for a competitor to make his hole, and that is precisely what he hopes to do UFL.

the free-to-play newcomers from Strikerz Inc. hasn’t shown much yet, but it promises offline encounters and above all fair online games, where all levels of players will meet. The first glimpse of gameplay foreshadowed significant graphic and technical ambitions. It will however be necessary to be a little patient, because Eugene Nashilovdirector of the development studio, said his teams needed more time to finalize the first version of UFL and that it will therefore not be released in 2022 as announced, but in 2023.

It is nothing new to say that this is a game of immense technological complexity – a game which must simulate a full range of football mechanics and techniques with dynamic and realistic animations, players of world class and much more. Today we are announcing that the release date will be pushed back to 2023. Many of you pointed out that it was likely, and you were right. The game is now about 80% ready, and we need more time to complete development. You can expect an update on the release date for December.

See you at the end of the year to find out more about the future of UFL, which will be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and will normally be entitled to a beta before launch. By then we will have got our hands on FIFA 23which you can pre-order from €31.97 on Amazon.co.uk.
