LONDON, Oct 17 (Reuters) – The Bank of England (BoE) presented on Monday the various liquidity operations it is holding following the end of its emergency bond buying programme.
“As expected, these operations have enabled a significant increase in the sector’s resilience,” the BoE said in a statement.
The British central bank added that its Temporary Extended Collateral Reverse Repo Facility (TECRF), set up on October 10, will continue until November 10. (Report Kylie MacLellan; French version Claude Chendjou, editing by Kate Entringer)
