LONDON, April 12 (Reuters) – All options would be open if Russian forces use chemical weapons in Ukraine, Under-Secretary of State for the Armed Forces James Heappey said on Tuesday.
British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said on Monday London was working with partners to verify reports that Russian forces used chemical agents in a Mariupol attack.
“There are things that are unacceptable, and the use of chemical weapons will prompt a response and all options are on the table for what that response might be,” James Heappey told Sky News television. (Report Kylie MacLellan; French version Elena Vardon)
