Ukraine and Russia exchange prisoners


April 9 (Reuters) – Ukraine and Russia exchanged prisoners on Saturday, the third since the Russian invasion began on February 24, Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk announced online.

Twelve Ukrainian soldiers were released, along with 14 civilians who were able to return to Ukraine, she said. She did not specify the number of Russians freed. (David Ljunggren, French version Sophie Louet)
