(Reuters) – Ukraine’s national nuclear power company said Russian-based hackers launched a major attack on its website on Tuesday, but caused no significant problems.
“The Russian group ‘People’s Cyber Army’ launched a computer attack using 7.25 million fake users, simulating hundreds of millions of views on the company’s website,” Energoatom said in a statement.
“(This attack) did not significantly affect Energoatom’s website operations.”
