PARIS (Reuters) – France will decide “very soon” whether to deliver military equipment to Ukraine following the offensive by Russian forces on its territory, Armed Forces Minister Florence Parly said on Friday.
“We are still studying the requests that have just been made to us and we will decide very quickly,” the minister said on RTL radio.
“We do not deliver military equipment like we deliver humanitarian aid. It is equipment that is subject to rules,” she added.
Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky said on Friday that Russia’s continued aggression against his country showed that Western sanctions imposed on Moscow were insufficient.
