UKRAINE: HENRI PROGLIO, EX-CEO OF EDF, WILL NOT LEAVE HIS TIES WITH RUSSIA, REPORTS THE JDD
PARIS (Reuters) – Henri Proglio, former CEO of EDF, has said he will not give up his seat on the international advisory board of Rosatom, Russia’s federal atomic energy agency, following the invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces.
“I sit on the international advisory committee of this agency (Rosatom, editor’s note), as do former European leaders and personalities from the nuclear world (…) But let’s be clear: I do not intend to resign”, declared Henri Proglio in a interview with the Journal du Dimanche.
Former French Prime Minister François Fillon announced at the end of February that he was leaving the boards of Russian companies Sibur and Zarubeshneft.
“I am neither a politician like François Fillon, nor an administrator as he was until recently”, emphasizes Henri Proglio.
