KYIV (Reuters) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba said on Friday he demanded that Iran stop sending weapons to Russia, in a telephone interview with his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amirabdollahian.

“I have called on Iran to immediately stop the flow of weapons to Russia used to kill civilians and destroy critical infrastructure in Ukraine,” Dmitro Kouleba wrote on Twitter.

Ukraine and its Western allies have reported an increase in Russian attacks in recent weeks using Iranian-made “kamikaze” drones against Ukrainian infrastructure.

Iran denies supplying drones to Russia to attack Ukraine.
