No, Emmanuel Macron did not obtain anything in the file of the Ukrainian crisis. Marine Le Pen refutes Macron’s “lie”
“I obtained that there is no degradation and escalation,” said Emmanuel Macron at the end of his interview with the Russian president. “There is only one misfortune, it is that it is a lie which was immediately contradicted by the Kremlin”, explained Marine Le Pen, who refers to the spokesman of Vladimir Putin who effectively declared that these remarks were “not exact”, but that the interview had laid the foundations for a continuation of the work on the Ukrainian file.
If for the RN candidate, “the (Ukrainian) crisis can degenerate”, Marine Le Pen estimated that diplomatic relations between France and Russia “have been extremely bad for many years”. The deputy of Pas-de-Calais affirmed on Europe 1 that this diplomatic tension was in particular due to the presence of France in the integrated command of NATO, from which she wants to leave the country. “France no longer appears to be the arbiter it has always been (…) and I would like it to become so again in the face of the tensions that may emerge”, assured the RN candidate, who castigated ” strategic and military submission”.
“The record (of the five-year term) internationally is catastrophic”
Believing that she would have had “good relations with Russia” as president, Marine Le Pen added that Emmanuel Macron “does not think at all of the interests of France. In reality, he thinks of the interest of his own candidacy (…). His international record is catastrophic”, also asserted the deputy of Pas-de-Calais, supporting that the outgoing president “ruined the influence of France” on the international scene.
If some foreign countries welcome the presidency of Emmanuel Macron, the RN candidate clarified that “the United States is very happy with him, Germany is very happy because Emmanuel Macron obeys Germany (… ). Germany would like France not to defend its interests. This is exactly what Emmanuel Macron is doing”, concluded Marine Le Pen.
