Ukraine-Moscow offers humanitarian corridors from five cities on Wednesday


OTTAWA, March 8 (Reuters) – The Russian weapon will cease firing from 10:00 a.m. Moscow time (0700 GMT) on Wednesday and is ready to set up humanitarian corridors to allow civilians to leave the Ukrainian capital Kiev during the day and four other cities in the country, the official Russian press reported.

Information on these humanitarian corridors from Kiev, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkov and Mariupol will be sent to Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, said a senior Russian representative, quoted by the Tass agency. (Report David Ljunggren; French version Jean Terzian)
