After a week of donating profits to humanitarian organizations that help Ukraine, Fortnite and Humble Bundle have almost reached $100 million raised.

After a week of collection via their shops, Fortnite and Humble Bundle have raised nearly $100 million for several humanitarian organizations that help warring populations in Ukraine. A few days ago, the Humble Bundle site, which has a habit of providing packs of popular games at reduced prices (a “hat” sale where everyone puts in the sum they deem decent), announced a mega box of more than a hundred objects for less than 37€the profits of which would be donated to a few associations.

At the same time, Fortnite announced to do the same in its online store, thus donating the earnings of its micro-transactions directly to charities. While the conflict is still ongoing between Russia and Ukraine, more than $70 million that was raised by Epic Games’ game, announced the official account at the start of the weekend, the latest estimate given. Fundraising will continue until April 3.

On the side of Humble Bundle, nearly $21 million more was announced last Friday on the occasion of the closing of the offer, with 473,903 packs sold and exactly 20.98 million collected. We can imagine that the sum only increased during the weekend for Fortnite, et the 100 million are probably already exceeded at the time of writing these lines.
