After Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decree calling for partial mobilization, the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army promised on Wednesday to “destroy” Russians who go to Ukraine to fight, including those who will be mobilized.

The commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, Valery Zaluzhny, promised on Wednesday to “destroy” the Russians who will go to Ukraine to fight, including those who will be mobilized after the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin. “We will destroy all those who come to our territory with arms in their hands – whether voluntarily or by mobilization”, wrote on Facebook Valery Zaloujny, who rarely speaks in the media.

Ukraine “will continue the offensive”

In an interview with the German channel Bild TV, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for his part said he “does not believe” in the use of nuclear weapons by Moscow. “I don’t believe the world will let this happen.” He also went on to explain that he could not “accept this kind of compromise”. Ukraine “will continue the offensive”, he said, saying he was “certain to liberate (our) territories”.

In this context, and while declaring himself “grateful” for the military support provided by Berlin, he called on German deputies to vote on Thursday in favor of the delivery of modern combat tanks which will save “more human lives”.
