On the fourteenth day of the Russian offensive in Ukraine, the US House of Representatives passed an aid envelope of $13.6 billion on Wednesday evening, as part of a $1.5 trillion all-out spending package. Democrats and Republicans have united to earmark these funds. Half is for humanitarian aid and economic support. The other will finance military equipment.

For its part, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) released 1.4 billion dollars as part of its “rapid financing instrument”.
