KYIV, June 29 (Reuters) – The death toll from a Russian missile strike on Tuesday at a restaurant in Kramatorsk, a town in eastern Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast, stood at 12, officials said. Thursday the emergency services, also reporting about sixty wounded.
Three children were among those killed in the attack, they said.
The Russian Defense Ministry said a temporary Ukrainian army command post was targeted in Kramatorsk and two Ukrainian generals and up to 50 officers were killed in the attack, according to RIA.
Kramatorsk, a large city located west of the front line in the Donetsk region, has already been bombed by Russia, notably when a strike on the railway station killed 63 people in April 2022.
