According to a report, 17 Ukrainian drones attacked a logistics base of Russian troops near Yevpatoria on the occupied Crimean peninsula on Saturday night. Dozens of Russian soldiers were killed or injured in the attack, the newspaper Ukrajinska Pravda reports, citing sources in Ukraine’s security service. The extent of the damage is still being determined. “The first reports point to dozens of occupiers killed and injured and a lot of damaged equipment,” the newspaper said. The Russian Defense Ministry said earlier that 20 Ukrainian drones had been intercepted in Crimea.

A 72-year-old was also seriously injured by an explosive device dropped by a drone in Odradokamyanka. Russian forces also shelled the city of Kherson, but no one was injured.

According to Russian sources, a Ukrainian drone has been shot down in the Belgorod region of Russia. According to the Ministry of Defense in Moscow, the Ukrainian army tried to use a drone to attack “objects on the territory of the Russian Federation”. There are no casualties or damage, it said. As the governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov explained, the drone was shot down while approaching the town of Shebekino, not far from the Ukrainian border.
