This included efforts by the US government and the private sector to help rebuild Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure. The talks were about plans for an infrastructure task force with representatives from the US Department of Commerce, the US Department of Transportation and the Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure, the Commerce Department said.

The former film actor and current Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj has an Oscar. The trophy was presented to him as a gift by Hollywood star Sean Penn, the presidential office said. The Hollywood star who takes care of war refugees was awarded an Order of Merit by Zelensky for his contribution to helping Ukraine. The two-time Oscar winner has been working on a film about Zelensky for some time.
