Ukrainian family – risky escape: from bomb hell to safe Graz

They had been on the run since March 12, from bombs, destruction and fear of death. “I’ll stay here in Ukraine until the end, no matter what happens,” Oleh Hlazkov’s mom had repeatedly said before. Although her state of health was getting worse and worse – so worrying that she could no longer run into the basement as often during the day and stayed in the apartment while the bombs fell all around. She was only able to put the family in the car with gentle emphasis.
